Guiding young people and not-young people, toward their power and their peace.
STORY
From climate organising to collective resilience.
Hi! Thank you for being here.
As an introduction, in my early 20s I was heavily involved in youth climate organising - from coordinating an anti-fracking campaign to co-founding Bristol Youth Strike 4 Climate. I was the 'wellbeing officer' across different organisations, when two things became abundantly clear.
One: collections of individuals coming together hold tremendous power, potency and innovative potential. Collective action has remapped politics and rewritten the future.
Two: the human spirit imbued in these collectives is fragile. Burnout, in-fighting and the censorship of who we are beyond the ‘fight’ have eroded our ambitions and our potential for personal and planetary flourishing.
In response, age 24, I set up The Resilience Project, to support young changemakers find their people, their power and their peace. Over five years at the helm, I worked with grassroots leaders to expanded our work from the United Kingdom to Europe, East Africa and beyond. It created all kinds of beautiful opportunities.

The Missing Piece
A wealth of retreat facilitation experience, and a long history with yoga, meditation and mindfulness have shown me the possibility of community, introspection and deep time without our devices. Whether it be through teaching yoga classes, retreats, advocacy, consultancy or my writing, I am in service of this: protecting the vibrancy and clarity of the human spirit, not just so we can feel good, but we can increase our ability to call in greater systemic and structural change.
To me, this is the missing piece — not simply strategy and mobilisation — but addressing the deeper crisis of connection to self, others and nature. Let me be clear that it’s not woo-woo bullshit.
Living closer to ourselves and others is the external furnace to better forge our communities, relationships, levels of satisfaction with work and life. Because heck, there are a lot of reasons to feel exhausted right now. But if we can uncover ways to feel more alive, compassionate, empathetic, emboldened, and courageous? Surely that’s the greatest strategy we have.
